The staff at Medical Fitness Pros are big believers in helping people apply their fitness.  Recently we took our clients out for a fitness adventure, rock climbing. I have to admit, rock climbing isn’t something you think about when you talk about exercising.  We know that walking, running, riding a bike, taking an aerobics class, etc… are the ways we typically workout, but that gets old very fast!  So we do things like hiking, rock climbing, dragon boat racing, etc…  The beauty of this is that anyone can do it.  For instance, Absolutely! Magazine has an article in it this month talking about 71 years young, Julia Gordon, climbing with us (see below).  It’s a fascinating story to read because she has been through 3 back surgeries, never been involved in sports, and just started working out with us.  It’s amazing how much she has accomplished in just a short period of time.
