I love working with challenging and new situations. While I haven’t worked with every condition possible, the beauty of working with someone new is the research I get to do. When I met Mary Frances and learned about her hip pain, I had the opportunity to research and learn a new method of training specifically for her. Teaching her exercises that are safe for hip pain is such a wonderful experience because it allowed her to workout consistently without a lot of pain/irritation.
I worked with a personal trainer 10 years ago and I did benefit from the discipline of going and trying some new things. Of course when that stopped I stopped progressing as quickly.
By the time I started working with Jason, I was 12 years older and had some aches and pains that had developed over the years for some still undetermined reason. I knew I needed help. I asked around at the Katy, Texas area and every answer was the same….Jason is the one you want. He has the training and the desire to help people with pain, he knows what he is doing, and he likes it! I took Jason up on it and I had a great experience. Jason is educated and confident and I felt that he really did care about my personal needs, not the paycheck. Our time together was too short but I did feel some strength returning and have tried (thought not diligently) to use some of the techniques and exercises he taught me when I work out on my own. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and wish I could keep it up. I think personal training is valuable in that there is someone watching out for you, someone who cares, and someone that knows when you are cheating!!!! I highly recommend Jason and hope to be able to go back to him sometime in the future.
