About the Katy Women’s Golf Fitness Program
Starting in February, Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Golf Fitness Instructor, Graham Knight, is beginning his Katy Women’s Golf Fitness Program. The program is designed to take a group of ladies through a fitness conditioning program that will help you rotate further, have more stabilization, and better muscular endurance in your golf game. Here are some sample exercises to give you a better idea of what to expect in the program.
Katy Women’s Golf Fitness Program Details
Your workout program will last twice a week for 6 weeks in a group of 4* or more other female golfers. The program will is offered on Tuesday/Thursday from 1 – 2 PM beginning on Tuesday, February 4th. The cost for the program is $480 per participant ($40/session).
What to expect in the program
The program will be a beginner fitness program (not a beginner golfer program); golfers of all levels can benefit from the program. (In the future there will be an intermediate and advanced program for those who advance through the basic level beginners course.) If you have never taken a golf specific fitness program before, this is the program for you. The program will start out with golf specific stretches, followed by exercises designed to work on your balance, coordination, and muscle strength. There will be an emphasis on the core and proper muscle control. Throughout the program the intensity will increase from week to week.
You might already be taking lessons to improve your golf game, but this program is a great addition to help you lower your handicap and improve your fitness. The golfer is evolving, and with that, players need to rethink their fitness habits. The Women’s golf fitness program is a great way to learn golf specific exercises in a fun, social environment. Improve your golf game by improving your endurance, accuracy, and distance to lower your handicap and be an overall more consistent golfer.
