With summer just around the corner you are more than likely getting flooded with an array of camps for your kids. There’s science camps, photography camps, cooking camps, computer camps, and of course sports camps. Being the parent, I know you want what’s best for your child.
“But which sports camp do you choose?”
Medical Fitness Pros will be holding an Athletic Enhancement Camp for the summer. But just to let you know, this camp is not for everyone.
- This camp WILL NOT have your kids doing meaningless up-downs, or have your child running a mile to warm up like most camps do.
- This sports camp is intended to give the athlete the necessary tools to enhance and give them the competitive advantage that all high school and college recruits are looking for.
- The program will focus on running mechanics, speed, agility, explosiveness, and reaction. These are all areas that are crucial in most sports. We will also go over the different tests that are run at the high school, college and even pro level (40 speed, pro shuttle, L-drill). Not only is the “HOW” enforced but the “WHY” and the connection to game situations is also a vital value that this camp will provide.
To keep the athletic at their peak performance level the camp will be held twice a week giving the student athlete ample time to let their bodies recover and less prone to injury. The camp size will range between 8 to 15 athletes. The smaller group setting is to allow your child to get the most one-on-one time to correct and perfect any mechanical errors.
