Announcing Our New Program!

After listening to my clients, reading e-mails from people on my newsletter list, and brainstorming with other fitness professionals around the US, I’ve finally decided to announce my new program.  I realize that many Katy residents need help with their fitness routines, but they lack the motivation and drive to keep consistent…

I have a confession to make.

I often get to work at 6 AM and hope to be at home by 8 PM Monday through Friday.  My Saturday isn’t much different.  I run home, have dinner, and do it all again the next day.  Between working with clients, attending meetings of various committees, and completing all of the paperwork I have, it’s extremely hard to get workouts in.  So a few months ago I started changing my routine.  Instead of the long routines i was previously doing, I decided to shorten them, increase the intensity, and see what would happen.  I started using this routine and was so pleased with my results that I started using it with my clients.  Not only do I get my workouts accomplished much faster, but I feel like I’ve given it my all after I’m done. You know that feeling, right?

I find there are 3 things that people struggle with in Katy.

1) Time – the workouts in my new program are designed to be short, fast-paced workouts.  We plan to have you in and out of the gym in 45 minutes or less.  In fact, if you can commit to just 3 hours a week to exercise, I know you will get amazing results with this program.

2) Commitment – If staying consistent with your exercise routine and nutrition program have been a problem for you in the past, this program will keep you accountable.  Meeting with us frequently and being surrounded by others who are striving to achieve the same results will keep you focused on your goals.

3) Motivation – It’s so hard sometimes to force yourself to go through another exercise routine when you have so much going on.  You need to have something that will keep you on schedule and help you make this a priority and a standing appointment.  It will keep you from being talked in to doing things when you know you should be exercising.

Last month I had a small group of clients go through this new program with me, and I’ll let them tell you what it was like for them:

“One of the biggest problems I have with my exercise program is the ability to maintain it on my own for more than two weeks. I tend to lose my motivation and find all sorts of excuses for just not being consistent with it. I have found that working with a personal trainer makes me more accountable and I tend to stick with the program longer. However, this can get to be very expensive. My trainer, Jason Hodge, started a group training program last year and encouraged me to join. It was one of the best things that I had done for myself. Being part of the group make me feel like part of a team. I felt accountable not only to Jason, but to the group as well. If they were going to make an effort to get to the gym for the workout, then I had to get there also. We motivated each other and for me it made the whole exercise program fun. I have made some wonderful friends who share my desire to get healthy and in shape. Jason has recently started the group training program again with a bit of a twist this time. The groups are small and fell really personalized to meet my exercise needs and abilities even though we are working as a group. It has been a wonderful experience, and very challenging as well. I am able to work at a pace I know I would not be ale to do if it weren’t for the group. We push each other and congratulate each other for our individual accomplishments. I know that if I miss a session, they will want to know where I am, and I will get a text or email from Jason as well as from one of my group members. This new group training program has been challenging, but fun. I am exercising at a level that I never thought I would be able to. I am seeing results as well. It is a full body workout that includes both strength training and cardio. This program came at a time when I was searching for something different to keep me motivated. Thank you, Jason, for always finding new ways to keep me excited about exercise and a healthy way of living.”  – Loretta Fontenot

In case you’re wondering about the picture, that’s Loretta resisting the Dark Chocolate Snickers bar I promised her in a previous post.  She did so well with her program that week that by the time she earned it, she no longer wanted it.  Oh, did I mention she also lost 1.5 pounds that week?

So here are the details of the program.

When: Right now we are offering classes at 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 6:00 PM.  That will expand with time.

What: The program will consist of a nutrition program, semi-private personal training strength training program, cardiovascular program, and motivation to help you achieve your goal.  We will also monitor your results along the way to make sure you are consistently making progress.

How much: The class is only $280 for 4 weeks.

If you enroll in the class and decide it’s not for you, I will refund your money and let you out of the class.

If you’re ready to get started, simply fill out this contact form or call us at 281-500-6055.
