I remember when I first started trying to get in shape, I had no idea what to do. The thought of changing all of my bad eating habits was pretty overwhelming. I knew I should improve, and I knew I could improve, but where should I start?

I know when it comes to personal training, we often try to help people get in shape as fast as possible. We adjust your eating habits, exercise habits, and try to get you to adjust to a new lifestyle as quickly as possible. I’m beginning to realize that many people are like I was when I first started trying to improve my health. You don't want to be overwhelmed...you just want to move in the right direction.  So I want to offer an exclusive program designed to help people transition to a healthier lifestyle.

This program is for those who need motivation, help with accomplishing goals, and would like something that is cost effective for their budget. If you are not willing to be held accountable to a plan, this program is not for you.

The program will work like this: One time a month you will meet with me or one of our fitness professionals to discuss your accomplishments, results from the previous month, obstacles that need to be overcome, and goals for the upcoming month.  The goals will encompass improving nutrition, changing your exercise routine, or both. We will provide any educational material you need to help you accomplish that particular goal (nutrition advice or exercises to follow).

We can also deal with a variety of situations, i.e., weight loss, joint pain, cardiovascular problem, diabetes, etc…

Fine Print: We are only going to take 5 people to begin with, and we are going to make the first meeting for everyone that makes it in, free. There is no commitment associated with this first meeting. I just want to see how well it goes for the 5 people selected before I open this program up to everyone.  In order to be enrolled in the program, you need to fill out the Contact Us form. In the “message” box, tell me why you think I should pick you for this program. Once I have the 5 people I need for the program, I am going to end registration.  If you have questions, contact me at 281-500-6055.

*REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED  - Thank you to all who applied.  You will hear from us shortly.

Re: You, changing your life, one step at a time

I am the Yu's neighbor and I very much need a different sort of accountability. I lead a bible study based weight management class called First Place 4 Health and I struggle as much or more than my classmates in eating right and getting my exercise in. I would like to know what the monthly/meeting fee will be after the first Free class. I know that you can help me with exercise pain/discomfort issues and that I'll be able to pass that info along to my classes. But mostly, I need you to move in with my family so that I HAVE to eat right. It's the choices (I'm the shopper, we eat our alot) that are the problem. It's also a lack of preparation that causes struggles. Thanks, Rhonda

PS would you consider working with both me and my husband in your first 5?

Even though I know a lot about how to eat right and exercise, I have been thrown off my routine with different body issues. My motivation has dwindled. I am at a place that it feels overwhelming to try and get back to feeling good. Now due to the pain I have to work through, I don't push myself to work through. Accountability and motivation is greatly needed. thanks for considering me.

Re: You, changing your life, one step at a time

I just returned from the doctor and I stood on a scale for the first time in a year. I knew it was coming but am never prepared for the news. I hate scales. I NEED to change my life, it is not a choice anymore. I am finially ready. The doctor said I was healthy but have to get bloodwork results. It was a fasting blood test, so we just returned from doctor and ate for the first time today at 2:30pm. I had lettuce with tuna and a yellow pepper. I am so scared!! I am addicted to food. I feel like a lost cause. I want to exercise and get into some kind of shape. I also want to have a positive attitude. Not easy for an addict. Whether you thick this program is right for me or not, I need HELP!!!
