This is so me! Why do we do that to ourselves? I'm making some changes now, but up until this week, I would skip breakfast (who has time to eat?), have a salad for lunch, but then...

Some days, I would be so hungry by the time I got home, that I swear I would have grabbed a bite of my teenage son if he had stood still long enough!

Skipping breakfast and eating a salad for lunch is definitely not the way to go. Make time to eat a good breakfast and a good lunch. Eat vegetables, but don't be afraid to eat some carbs and a lean protein with your lunch and dinner. It makes all the difference in the world, and it sounds like it will save your son! :)

Jason, It would be helpful to have sample menus and recipes! Maybe we could have a recipe swap where "contestants" could share recipes they have found that are tasty and filling.
