This is our 2nd Katy Slimdown Challenge and we are really excited about everyone who is wanting to participate. We are expecting over 100 participants this year and we know it's going to help a lot of you out.
Our goal for this contest is to help people lose weight and regain their health. We hope to motivate you with prizes throughout the contest and at the end. So with that being said, here are some things you need to know about the contest.
How much does it cost to enter? There is no cost for entering our weight loss competition. We want everyone to have the opportunity to compete, and we don't want you to not compete because you don't have the money to invest. So feel free to enter without fear of us ever asking for money.
Are we providing a program for you? As I mentioned earlier, we have over 100 participating in this contest. Logistically we cannot provide each of you a detailed plan to lose weight. We will however send out e-mails throughout the contest offering advice and where you can find a variety of resources. If you want additional help, we can personal train you and offer nutritional counseling/meal plans. If that is something you are interested in, feel free to contact us.
How do I schedule my appointment time to get measured? When you register for the competition, we will send you a link that will allow you to schedule your time. The link is being sent out by Wednesday, January 20th.
What is the process of scheduling and measuring like? We have a special scale we use that has no markings or numbers on it. We will weight you and the information will be wirelessly transmitted to our computer. We will then take you into a private room to do measurements and will take a before picture. All of your information will remain private and will not be announced. The only time we will announce any information about a particular person's weight, will be when we talk about the male and female winner at the end. Everyone else's information will remain private.
Can my company/friends do this with me? Yes, we are interested in people forming groups and competing as a team. We haven't quite figured out what we are going to do, but if we have enough groups of 5 or more people, we are considering offering a prize to the group who gets the best results.
