FDA Recall on Hydroxycut
The FDA has issued a recall on the popular weight loss produce, Hydroxycut. There have been 23 reported cases of liver damage, liver transplant, and one death. Other complications include seizures, cardiovascular disorders, and rhabdomyolysis. Rhabdomyolysis can lead to muscle damage and potentially kidney damage. All forms of Hydroxycut have been pulled from the shelf even though only the Hydroxycut Hardcore has been the main reason for the recall.
If you have already purchased this product, do not use it. The following products are being recalled:
- Hydroxycut Regular Rapid Release Caplets
- Hydroxycut Caffeine-Free Rapid Release Caplets
- Hydroxycut Hardcore Liquid Caplets
- Hydroxycut Max Liquid Caplets
- Hydroxycut Regular Drink Packets
- Hydroxycut Caffeine-Free Drink Packets
- Hydroxycut Hardcore Drink Packets (Ignition Stix)
- Hydroxycut Max Drink Packets
- Hydroxycut Liquid Shots
- Hydroxycut Hardcore RTDs (Ready-to-Drink)
- Hydroxycut Max Aqua Shed
- Hydroxycut 24
- Hydroxycut Carb Control
- Hydroxycut Natural

Thank you for your timely news. Right after your e-mail last week advising me not to take Hydroxicut, the FDA news item (per above) showed up in my Yahoo internet news! I was planning to let you know about this official news report, but then again you beat me in doing so.
It was last Sunday at HEB/Fry Road that I almost picked up a bottle, but decided against it until I could consult you. Again thank you for your help and "intervention".
